Oliver Tubb Golf

A professional golfer since 2005, Oliver is passionate about golf and golf course design.  Having competed all across North America he has been fortunate to visit many of the US and Canada’s top golf clubs, along with others not as well known. Coupled with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree, Oliver brings an understanding and perspective unique to the golf industry. He is especially interested in how the design of golf courses can be used to maximize the enjoyment of game and to minimize the environmental footprint.

Oliver lives in Vancouver, BC with his wife and son and can be found at the University Golf Course where he works and coaches golfers of all levels. Throughout the year he competes regularly and writes golf course reviews for Score Golf.

Born in Scotland and raised in Eastern Ontario, Oliver has been playing golf since he was nine years old and has been competing since the age of 13 years.  He turned pro in 2005 after a successful athletic and academic career at the University of Guelph.  This included winning individual and team provincial championships and representing Canada at the World Collegiate Championships. He was named a three time OUA All Star and University of Guelph Athlete of the year.

Since 2005, Oliver has lived in the Vancouver area and has based his competitive career from the West Coast.  He has a strong passion for design,  travel, and sport.  With an honours degree in Landscape Architecture and professional experience in the industry, he has expertise in the design of outdoor space, golf course architecture and sustainability.
